Found in the bottom of a box of tools.
Squeezing the spring loaded handle moves the blade looking thing on top.
I call it a blade but it is not sharp. Front face is 90 degrees to the side.
Any idea what it is.

It's a poor excuse for a tin snip. I've had one in my tool box for years & have no idea why I keep the darn thing.

Bernzcutter. Used for nibbling formica.I have one my dad had in his formica toolbox for probably 50 years.I don't think I ever saw one marked metal though.

They had different cutters that went in them. Dad had one, 3or 4 different cutters with it.

It's also called a nibbler, works good on round stovepipe. That's what we used ours for.
