Kee Lawnmower Discussion

I'm having a very difficult time finding a "person" to talk to. LOL.
I have a frame from a KEE lawnmower ...... over 30 years old for sure but it is solid. I have found an engine replacement but before I buy that I need some help with the blade assembly/attachment >> The original adapter appears to be standard 7/8", 2.5 in wide, etc. (Picture attached) The problem with using this one on a new engine is that is uses a 22", 1 3/4 wide blade which is out of circulation.

I was hoping for a new assemble/attachment could be found, using a wider blade current in market, at 22" long.

Thanks for your time and brains.

I've got to think "After-market options". Thanks. This might work. Let me talk this out.
Its not like for like, which I expected. The height adjustment on the deck has several choices which allows flexibility.
At this price, looks like a good idea to see if it will work on the "dead" engine I'm replacing. If it fits, ok. If not, I can return to Tractor Supply. We have one where I live.

Thanks.
This is not a "need" project. It's a "want". It's the challenge.

Out of curiosity I googled what a Kee Mower looks like, and they are pretty cool. Deserving of restoration or just a working machine. I mow my camp in vermont with either a gravely L-8 or David Bradley sickle bar. Fun for just a yearly hobby. Good luck with your project!
