Flame paint job on new JD combine

I swear to god, just down the road from my grandpas farm where I am working on my 1975 Ford 3000, I saw what appeared to be a new JD combine with a yellow paint flame job.

Please God, tell me I was hallucinating and that farmers are not this gullable to pay extra for what I assume would be an option.

3M Makes custom vinyl wraps for cars, trucks and tour buses. Maybe ten years ago they did a Budweiser custom wrap for a Case/IH combine.

Looks like it should be driven in reverse. Doesn't look right with the flames going forward.

Usually "things" that move and are painted with flames, show the wind direction from the front, not the rear.....confusing!

They'd explode if rear ended. That's the joke. Combines also usually burn from the rear.

Yes I had one for the kids to drive to school. Never had a problem and it was a nice cheap car, well built otherwise for those who wound up with problems of the sort. Sometimes designers can't think of everything. With millions of drivers in different situations with different abilities to operate a motor vehicle it's gotta be a heck of a guessing game for designers.
