Has anyone out there built a

Deck over, Dual Axle, Tilt Car Hauler?

Or any trailer that has anything in common with the above?

If you have, and your willing to give me some guidance I would really appreciate it.

I could walk you through the entire process of building a deckover. Got tons of pics, and commentary as to the rationale behind the build.

Mine isn't a tilt deck, but I overcame that, with accessories that allow you to use a ramp to load, without ruining the aft end of the trailer.

Note the jack setup for loading. A simple piece of tubing, supported by a jack, that extends under the rear of the trailer. It stows away on the deck when done.

We've hauled many loads on this trailer..........generally not considered suitable for such a trailer due to the difficulty of loading the stuff. Ramps are fine if you do them right. AND IF YOU WINCH THE LOAD.

Here in uk there are very strict rules about using a home made trailer on the road
I looked into it and decided it wasn’t worth the hassle
Maybe there’s similar rules across the pond

Haha, i have to kind-off wander to off-topic a little

Here in Finland ( EU) we have aswell very strict rules- unless its towed behind a tractor Then you can build whatever you want as long as its "safe for road traffic" and dont need to even register it
