Clutch decal on John Deere H

I bought the decal set for my 1940 John deere H from Travis Jorde and it includes a "simi-round" white label giving instructions "TO TIGHTED CLUTCH-----" which does not appear in the PC304 parts book. Is this a correct decal that goes on the clutch cover H345R?
Also, the kit had the "OIL LEVEL" decal B1568R and the "Donaldson Air Cleaner Instructions" B1567R with red borders and black letters (black/red letters on the B1567R)--is this correct?

If you bought the decals from Jorde, they are correct.

The AA4264R “Decalcomania Set” shown in PC304 is a generic set of decals that are not necessarily “period correct”. Those decals are the “latest” that Deere provided and were intended to “update” tractors to the most recent configuration utilized in production. For example, the black outlined “John Deere” decals weren’t used until the 1941 Production Year. And PC304 shows JD113, a “John Deere” decal for the seat support channel – however, JD113 was never used on any “H” seat support channel from the factory. So if you are concerned about being “period correct”, don’t use PC304 as your reference. And yes, the “To Tighten Clutch” instruction decal was used on model “H” tractors, although this decal doesn’t show in any of the current John Deere parts books – another reason to be careful when using PC304 as a reference…

Regarding the B1568R “Air Cleaner Oil Level Indicator” – early air cleaner cups had an embossed ring around the circumference that was a visual indicator of the required oil level. It would be appropriate to use that decal on those early cups. But in the early 1940 calendar year, the cups were changed to include the stamped words “Oil Level” in an interruption of the embossed ring. Therefore, the “Air Cleaner Oil Level” decal is not necessary and was not used for those later cups. (Ref Field Service Bulletin 107-S, March 15, 1940)

Thanks for the great information. My H has the embossed ring on the cup so I will use the "oil Level" decal--also thanks for the information on the clutch decal.

The only decal on the seat support channel should be the model name, such as the faded "MODEL H" silkscreen as shown in the picture of this original tractor. And the other picture is of the original air cleaner decal.
