Is this butterfly and shaft too loose?

Putting a carb kit in the tea 20 ,zenith carb. I noticed the butterfly shaft is a bit loose. I have sent video. Its hard to see,but maybe you all can let me know,by seeing.
The tractir was hard to adjust..thought a new kit wold do. Im just going to wait to see what you allsat,before putting a new shaft and butterfly in. The small screams are terriblly rusted,may not get them out.

Ok. I installed a new butterfly and shaft,on carb,and it was nice and tight,compared to the old one. Still turns easily,, Installing carb tomorow..

For future reference, the way you can test the throttle shaft for leakage is to spray a little bit of ether, carb cleaner, brake cleaner, an unlit torch, etc right near the throttle shaft bushings. A worn shaft will suck the air in, causing the engine speed/sound to change momentairly.

Many kits for the Zennith come with nylon bushes that allow you to repair the worn pivot points and compensate for an undersized shaft.

The kit had those...but they wouldn't fit. The new shaft was tight enough that now its good.

Seems like the kit s new butterfly and shaft was bigger. Had to sand down shaft to get it to fit.

The kit requires you to ream out the existing shaft holes to an interference fit for the outside diameter of the nylon bushings . Once they are fitted they act as airtight pivots for the new shaft .
