what is your battery maintainer of choice for 6volt/12 volt combo?

I have 12 tractors and 3 classic vehicles in the my collection that as of 3 days ago, i took official control of unfortunatly. (Death of family member) Even though we bought everything from him previously they were still his. But over the last 14-16 months we have purchased around $2500+ worth of new batteries in everything from the Edsel to the 4020's. This collection is stored in North Dakota and much of them will be stored in cold storage, like -20 cold storage. I want to place battery maintainers i have a bunch of 6 volt tractors and a buch of 12 volt items. i want units that can be permanently installed on most tractors and cars, but on some of the oldest ones, i want to just have clamps. i have been looking at the noco genius 1. I am wondering if anyone else has any other thoughts on this. Photos for attention

I have a Schumacher battery maintainer on my batteries, they keep the batteries fully charged - and make them last longer. Their current model number is SC1355. They're not cheap, but they work well.

Schumacher 1.5 amp battery maintainers work well and last for decades,but they are not cheap anymore.

I have had good luck with simply charging up unused batteries and then disconnecting the ground cable when a machine goes into long term storage. Check voltage every few months and recharge as needed during storage. A disconnected battery that self discharges in less than a month is likely already in need to be replaced.

A simple 2 wire flat pigtail connector on each battery, that are easily accessible without opening any hoods or guards, makes voltage checks and connecting a charger much easier and faster.

I have Norco and BatteryMINDer Plus, I prefer Norco. I hardwire all of mine to the system are battery. I had corrosion issues on a few that I just used the clamps straight to the battery that came with the charger. That issue may have been something else but all I hardwired in have never had corrosion issues.

I use solar cell charger batteries maintained. Connect and forget , come back in 8 months and start the 560 .
Plus I get 8 to 12 years out of a battery doing it this way. Been doing it because the machine shed is remote and I don’t like power to the building not in use.

Is the solar panel attached to the outside of the shed or parked behind a window?

I happen to have sky lite panels in the roof of the metal machine shed ,that let in enough light for charger . Short days or snow cover doesn’t matter the tractor battery stay charged to start it in the spring.

I have a solar charger that keeps the automatic door on my chicken house working perfectly.

For my boat I use a camper charger. It charges desulfacates and maintains. Not cheap by any means but it works great.
It is not permanently mounted so I can use the charger on other things if I need it.

My tractor gets used at least once every month of the year so I don’t worry about it needing charging.
