The video did not mention that. The verbiage did not explain why and how the crashes happened. So, I assume excessive speed was involved.

I Had Heard that the tractors were headed toward each other and the one swerved to miss and flipped his cart onto the other unit. Not sure on the speed of the ones involved, but around here they fly way to fast on these secondary roads. Big tri-axle carts that are over 109 inches wide. Unsafe as all get out.

It's JUST LIKE you're invisible out there. If they can't speed around you, they try to drive right through you. I told the wife just last week that I'm going to turn vigilante if somebody with a badge doesn't start doing something about it.

We are now living on interstate 38 here in Iowa. Whoever is
in charge statewise on speed limits raised the speed to 60
on most secondary roads. Even blacktops.
People used to go 60 when the limit was 55. Now 65 is the
norm.
We have to use this hiway to get to different fields. I can only
guess we'll get rear-ended at some time. I got passed on
the right shoulder the other day while waiting to make a left
turn. Folks seem to think they don't have to slow down for
anything slower than 60 on the road.

It's nuts around here. Young drivers running those honey wagons going way too fast! They don't realize just how dangerous those rigs are. I kinda wonder if some of those young drivers are even trained to handle those overweight rigs.

Young folk have the energy and drive and speed and stamina to get things done.

Us old folk can help but we need our rest, take our time, stop for the p breaks. Wouldn’t get anything done.

city folk and some country folk don’t know how to drive, how to share the road, what a big outfit needs for room and limited visibility, gotta make every drive a race, 19 minutes late every trip, gotta be on the cell phone every 5 minutes.

Is what it is these days.
