Correcting color of Ferguson 35 side emblem on TO35

I am restoring my 1955 TO35 green belly Ferguson. The side emblems available for the hood seem to be only available with the chrome letters on red background. OEM was chrome letters on green background. Any easy ideas on how to convert to a green background? Red color looks like it is not paint.

Front emblem was easy to strip red paint, respray green, then carefully wipe green off of chrome letters and perimeter chrome.

I have original green belly emblems and that is what I did, green paint then polished lettering.

Restored my green belly 4 yrs ago. Correct gray paint steady hand and small artist paint brush correcte it

' Humbrol ' make small pots of
enamel paint made for modelling. It is avaiin a myriad of shades and finishes , it is very durable . It is easy to 'pool' the paint into the recessed surround , by doing so tye surface levels off perfectly looking like vitreous enamel when dry .
