MF50 exhaust manifold

I have an MF50 with the A3.152 Perkins diesel engine. I have a parts book for it.
As part of my rebuild project I decided that it would be simpler to replace the exhaust manifold than to try to drill and tap the broken flange stud.
I bought a new manifold that shows as being the correct one in the parts book I have. It fit the engine just fine. However...
When it came time to install the steering drag link, the new manifold is exactly in the way.
So far I have not been able to come up with a part number for the correct manifold for my tractor.
The only other MF50 manifold anybody seems to be familiar with is for the AD3.152 and it doesn't fit my engine in any way, shape, or form, although it looks more like the one I took off than the one in the book does.
I no longer have the original manifold.
Does anyone have a parts book that might have a number for the manifold I took off my tractor? It is (roughly) Y-shaped, as opposed to the one in my parts book being C-shaped.

Is the one in the picture the one you have? Telling the part numbers, not just a description, helps to see if we are looking at what you have or not.

Since the listed manifold bolts to the engine but hits the drag link, could the tractor fall into a different serial-number break than the parts book you're using? Engine serial and tractor serial might be more useful here than searching MF50 manifold by appearance. Also worth posting a picture of the steering side and the number from the new manifold. Somebody may recognize immediately which version you have.

Have you talked to the seller to see if they have encountered this before? If this is an aftermarket manifold it is possible the casting is off in dimensions from the original. Hindsight is 20/20, too bad you had not held on to the old one for comparison.

Where are you located? someone might know of a salvage yard near you that might have a manifold.

I have not been having much of a problem with unit serial number breaks using this parts book. It often give serial number ranges for different part numbers when there is a difference.

I have been on the phone for hours trying to find someone who might have one. It seems that the MF50 with the early Perkins diesel is a bit of a rare bird. Apparently, most of them came with a gasoline engine.
The guy who sold the tractor to me doesn't even remember owning it. I have had it for a few years.

Do you have any other pictures that might show the casting number on that old manifold better?

MF part number 734921M1 looks more like your old manifold but doesn't show for your tractor.
