51 John Deere A clutch

Does anyone make linings for that center triangle shaped section, called clutch assembly,mine had riveted linings. Bought a kit, that part in it was the thickness of my worn out part. I had to shim the adjustment nuts to get the clutch to work right.I probably need to go in deeper to cure this problem ? JR.

Yup get the heavy inner hub out of there and replace the disk behind it. Also pay attention to the V marks on the crank and hub.

Be sure to pack that bearing with grease while you are in there.
