IH Farmall 826 hydraulic supply

Welp if you have one remote ya can add a power beyond plate to the outside of that valve . If you have two remotes the plate will not fit with out mods to the seat support . That is the ONLY place to get hyd's from off the dead side of the remotes . You will find that with the 12 GPM pump IF in top notch cond. will be SLOW . Depending on the relief valve lifting cap. will be limited . A 2350 psi relief will give max lift . BUT age of the pump may not be 12 GPM and more in the 9-10 GPM . The hyd . filter is limited to around 13-14 GPM . Pumps for that tractor can go up to 18 GPM but the filter cannot support that unless ya can find and org Industrial Internationa what came from the factory with the 18 GPM pump as it used a LONG Hyd Filter that could handle up to 20 GPM ot a Allied filter extension housing where you stack two filters . I have only seen one on a tractor and that one was on a 1206 i worked on two years back and when i started working on it it had Hyd . issues and beside one valve issue the org pump was toast and i installed a 18 GPM pump with presser reg vale of 2250 . Over the years i have bought fixed and sold truck loads of tractors and that is the first allied filter extinction housing mounted on one . I was not a Allied dealer and never bought or sold one .

Does this look correct? I don't have what I'd call a pressure relief line and feel that I should for the pressure coming from the back side of the cylinder. I hooked up what came with the system with no other "open" line connection.

Hello Jamie, welcome to YT! You’re going to have to show us photos of where you are taking pressure/flow out of the tractor and where your return is going back in. As far as the connections to your loader valve as long as it is an open center valve and your connecting to it correctly per the port labels it should do its thing. I believe you are correct in saying there should be 3 lines connecting to the tractor.

From your post I'd say my return line is my issue. I only have 1 line to the valves. Don't have an "open" fitting for a return so I don't know where it's supposed to come from on the loader valves. I have pressure just no return.

How about a picture of the valve showing the side the cables go into?

The hose jumping from a port on one side of the valve to the other does not look right.

Is this a new valve? Are any of the ports marked?

1WA50 number on side. Looped hose over top has me confused. Not sure where return line hooks up. Only currently has supply line.
Not much luck with that number. How did this all come to you? You had the 826 then bought a loader and it came with the valve as a package deal? In other words what kind of information do you have about the valve? I may be wrong about needing a 3rd hose, but you definitely need two connections to the tractor, a pressure/flow supply and a fluid return.

Your first 2 sentences says it correctly. And I also think I need a return line. Just don't know where to hook it up on valve or the tractor. No other info.

Where are you getting pressure from now? You can hook it up to the remote quick couplers for the time being to test it and get it working correctly. The remote lever just has to be held in the direction that supply pressure to the remote you are feeding the valve with. In that position the opposite remote coupler is open to allow fluid to flow back into the tractor’s system.

See post #7

Picture please and answer the questions

And was the hose from one side of the valve to the other on it or did you add that?

I did not add the cross hose. It was on there. Not stamped letters. This is best pic I have right now. Not a new valve.

Should be marked T tank, R reservoir or return, O for out, D for down stream.
This appears to be where you chose for the pressure/flow to enter the valve. What was the indication to you that this is correct? I don’t know where it is supposed to go in either. Did you roll dice, pick straws something had to support this more than an educated guess?

This was only open port when I received unit and I know it has to have pressure to operate. And I had 1 hose not hooked to anything.

Pull the elbow out I circled and the one directly below it on the side and take a photo of what it looks like inside of the ports. No name, no label, that’s the problem with offshore knock-offs if you get my drift. They are inexpensive but can also bite you. Hopefully someone else chimes in that recognizes the valve or has one like it.

Every valve I have, the pressure is on one side and the return is on the opposite side. The ports on top of the valve go to whatever cylinder the valve is controlling. Hard to tell from the pictures just how this valve assembly is set up.
