Can I use MF50 with the lift arms stuck in up position?

Lift arms are stick in up position. I need to do a few little pull type jobs; pull PTO manure spreader, pull type mower.
I would like to wait to fix the lift until things slow down in the winter. Can I use the tractor like this without damaging anything?

Pics (off "YT" ) WRECKAGE ............ lift NOT STOPPING at the top travel.!!
Your Tractor,your money......
I would not operate my MF 35 with the lift stuck at the top......MF 35 & MF 50 are the same design.
I would drain oil from the common Trans/Hydraulic/Diff......
REMOVE both inspection plates, and report back to "YT" with you findings.

With the ENGINE NOT RUNNING...

Move the operators control lift arm to the down position...

Reach in through the inspection PORT with a long ie Screwdriver and try moving the control valve...........<-----> (in and out)
Your pump may NOT have an INLET SCREEN

Before I did all that I would grab a lift arm and try to raise it. See if it has any free travel between where it is now and where everything comes to halt. If the piston and rockshaft are not fully bottomed out running it probably won't hurt anything. Then loosen the two bolts holding the 2'' X 3" cover on top of the lift housing on the right front corner. Just loosen them a turn or two to let some trapped fluid out of the lift cylinder. That should drop the arms a bit. Tighten them back up, start it up and see what happens next.
