O.T. allen wrench breaker bar

Back in the 70s I bought an allen wrench set at the long gone Webster Groves Auto Parts. The kit came with a breaker rod. it was polished steel, had 2 smaller holes in one end, & a single larger hole on the other end. worked great for breaking tight bolts. haven't seen one in years. anyone have a source, if push comes to shove i'll make one. when i search it only turns up socket type breaker bars, thab=nks.

Vise grips with good teeth and with or without an extension, work most of the time.

i did a search & there's nothing like the one that i had. might even still have it buried somewhere. what i did find were different version, usually in sets. this tool was really handy because it was compact & worked for different sizes. i have some 1/2" round stock. i'll just fabricate one. wife bought a cheap cabinet & i got frustrated with the provided allen key & that's what made me think about this tool. i rooted around the shop & found a t handled key that worked way more better. thanks y'all.

KD Tools No. 30 hex key set has an extension handle; 5" long, 9/16" diameter round stock with a 1/4" hole in one end and a 7/16" hole in the other end.

that's what i had. it looks like KD tools is no longer around. found a used #39 set & of course that piece is missing. pretty simple, i'll just make one.

My hex wrench extension handle is sch 80 pipe. I went out and counted today, my toolbox contains 13 sets of hex wrenches, SAE and metric; some of those sets have hex ball ends.
