I'm looking at buying a JD subsoiler and am trying to find model #. It a small one that hooks up on the drawbar and you trip it like a pull type but it has a set of wings you use to set depth and when you trip it again it flips up and is drug around the turn until you flip it again so it goes into the soil, anyone have any idea the model #

The #16 subsoiler with wings ride on top of the ground when the adjustable shank is in the ground.. The depth is set by moving the subsoiler shank up or down. I think it will go in the ground 16" at the deepest setting. Pull the trip lever at the end of the field to get the shank out of the ground, back up to reset the latch on the shank and proceed to subsoiling again. A scraper spring for a John Deere 200 series disk works great for the latch assembly. I have one and also a owners manual for one.
