How do you remove 300 series tach drive gear?

Is there a special tool? I have several bearing splitters and jaw pullers. Nothing is close to working.

The manuals show the gear and shaft as one part. I will post service manual assembly instructions if you need.
For 300 (1956 & 1957)
G10918 Gear - Hydraulic pump and tachometer drive (Single plate clutch)
G15432 Gear - Hydraulic pump and tachometer drive (Double plate clutch)

I'm trying to remove g10864 to get the bearing off behind it. Thanks for trying to help. If you have service manual instructions for the bearing it should say what i'm doing wrong.

The service manual really doesn't help, here's what I found. It appeared to be a press fit. Try putting the housing in a freezer for at least an hour or two. Get your propane torch ready along with a wedge shaped piece of wood (to bite against the gear) and hammer. Find a vise or something to hold the assembly in place. Acting quickly, heat the gear and tap it with the wedge, one side then the other.

Take the tach gear off the shaft. There is a snap ring in front of the bearing. Bearing should slide off the front of the shaft.

300 service manual for hydraulic pump drive assy. It gets confusing with some of the pics showing the seal installing tools in place over the pump drive shaft.
Looks to me like pushing that snap ring out, a puller behind the bearing would move the tach drive gear right along with it. I think i would heat the tach gear in the oven around 300 degs. See if it would shrink back tight on the shaft.
