Auto body epoxies and glues

How are auto body glue products Can you lay one panel far overlapped to another and just glue it? What are some brand names ? I have a boat {aluminum] that may need a small patch . Curious about these products Thanks in advance

No experience with them yet but have a couple different ones for a little boat im repair

3M 08115 works great. I got started on it 8 or 10 years ago when I needed to put a patch on a quarter panel on a Dodge minivan where there was too much insulation to weld.

It comes in two parallel tubes, and an applicator somewhat like a caulking gun mixes the two parts as they're expelled. It's not cheap. The first tubes plus the applicator gun run over $100, but in the right situation it's worth it.

Another vote for the 08115 as Goose said, I have used it once on a truck body with great success...
