Thanks for posting this. My dad purchased an M in the mid-80's when I was around 10 or 12 and it was the first tractor I really got experience with. We fixed it up, overhauled the engine, had a local welding shop build a 3-point hitch for it, and used it around our rural home. Now it is in my shed and still sees regular use. This is my son using it to drill some oats.

I had a neighborhood dairy who had just two Ms for his farm in the 1960's. His hay bailer had an engine. He ran it this way until retirement.

We had an M for a few years at our tree farm, I built a 3 point for it and a 5 foot cultivator, it worked very well.
