Gathering wheels for a Hesston 5530

Shoup only sells the whole assembly hub , center disc rubber for 220.000. Is there anyone that will just sell the rubber wheel with the fingers? Usually for a Vermeer they are around $ 100.00 each. Thanks

Try excelbelting.com. I have bought several from them. Bought just the rubber wheel and adapted it to the bare Hesston disc/hub. 877-334-3725. Just the rubber is $89.00.

We have also taken and old bias ply tire (no steel belts) and cut out the side wall in a saw tooth pattern and bolted it on the Hesston disc with 1/4 inch bolts and washers. That works really well. The hardest part is finding a bias ply tire!

Have a 5530 and a 530 and maintain several of them around here for local men.

Hey thanks for the info. From the looks of the metal on my wheels it looks like there was rubber on both sides, so was the rubber part must have been somehow molded with the metal in the middle. Never seen that before. Do you know anything about changing the tie arm from manual to electric or hydraulic. Thanks
