  • Ford 841 gasoline tractor with high oil pressure (80 PSI) at purchase.

I've replaced the oil gauge, oil sensing unit, oil filter, valve cover gasket and changed oil. Oil pressure remains 80 Psi.. Engine runs well enough but symptoms are "small" oil leaks . But a leak is a leak.
    . Any ideas?

Is there perhaps a stuck pressure relief valve in the block somewhere? I restored an ancient Cockshutt 80 that woiuld blow the filter can seal on anything over idel and I had to take apart the entire engine to get that little thing unstuck...ie rusted in tight so the spring couldn't do its job.
