Deere 4219 or 4202 engine ID?
I need to order a rebuild kit and cant figure out what motor I have. The casting number on the block R72973 comes up as a 4202, but the liners are slightly over 4" like the 4219. Engine tag says TO4219D114426. Is it possible that 4202 and 4219 liners interchange? Pins are 1.365" and seals are in...- brainsboy

JD 450 missing at idle
I bought a john deere 450 bulldozer 1970 model with a 4219 diesel engine. The dozer must of sat for a few years because all the steering clutches were stuck and had to be rebuilt.
