Transmission to center housing torque
I have rebuilt the transmission on my 641, and I m ready to reinstall it on the center housing. I was reading the shop manual and it states: "Torque the nuts to 40-50; the bolts to 60-70 ft. lbs." Does this mean I torque the nuts first, then the bolts? -

Not a good start to the weekend...
I have a 641 that has been sitting for a while. Decided to get it going again. Got it up to the shop and started changing all the fluids. Got to the transmission and it was empty, not good. Poured in a quart of fluid and found the problem. A big crack in the transmission case just to the rear of... -
