Got a few select-o-speed questions
1 Is the screen down on the drain the oil pickup? reason for asking is after an hour or so of running the oil pressure light comes on but doesn't quit. Thinking it is sludged up in the bottom and it gets stirred and partially clogs the screen. 2 when I put it in park, it goes past the safety... -

I have a '64 4000. I kept the stabilizer bars that came on another similar tractor. The lower brackets that bolt under the fender mount are exactly like the ones on the other tractor. they both had 4 holes for the short pin and are set to align with the lower pivot that the lower link mounts on... -

Select-0-speed PTO cable parts question
I have a '64 4000 4cylinder with a select-o-speed. The piece that comes through the hood has stripped threads on both ends. If I disconnect the cable will it pull out through that cast piece so I can just replace that cast piece if I can find one? -
