4020 starting issue
I have a '71 4020 that won't start with the switch. The starter has been rebuilt and I put on all new cables and a new solenoid. The batteries are fine. The only way it will start is if you cross the two posts on the solenoid with a screwdriver. Any ideas on how to fix this?- johndeere2520

Adjusting points on John Deere520
I have replaced two 6 volt batteries with one 12 volt which needs to be put in backwards in a John Deere 520. What adjustments need to be made to the points? It is not running correctly. Thanks, in advance!- johndeere2520
