Could someone tell me what type of electrical system a 1949 c would have had originally? I.e. ( 12v, 6v, positive ground, negative ground)? I redone the wires grandpa had on the tractor today to get it started for the first time in many years. He had it wired as follows, 12v battery with...- Hobbs49

I have 49 farmall c left to me by my grandpa that Im looking to restore. My biggest hurdle right now is Ive got a cracked engine block. The tractor fires and runs but leaks. Im wondering if you guys could tell me where I can buy another engine block or exactly what engine block for sure I need...- Hobbs49
