injector timing and low engine torque
new engine , new injectors engine runs great just don't have much torque, ford backhoe 256ci 4cy , new filters . Acts like the the fuel filters are clogged but they are new. -

Ford 555c air out of the injector pump
92, 555c I have air in the lines at #4 injector line out of the back of the injector pump but its only #4 when I crack the lines on 1-3 the engine sputters with no air just fuel . when I crack the fuel line on #4 engine does not change and I get fuel with lots of air, is the pump bad ? I am... -

555c ford backhoe getting hot under a load
when in gear , forward or reverse it feels like the brakes are dragging but when you put it in neutral it rolls nice and easy , engine gets hot when you push a little load , engine has about 20hr on a fresh rebuild , could the trans filter be stopped up , the trans oil looks very clean, seams to...- mic-t

1992 555c ford back hoe engine hunting at mid rpm range and at idle , I am thinking a bad injector seeing as all filters are new. getting a little black smoke when you accelerate.- mic-t

555c harmonic balancer timming
Can anyone tell me how to time the crankshaft balancer with the crankshaft .I have put new gears in the balancer and I cant see the marks on the crankshaft . with the counter weights down and #2 at TDC is that where its supposed to be timed at or am I misunderstanding the prosses . -

256ci Ford harmonic balancer timming I have rebuild my engine in my 555c backhoe . When I put the new harmonic balancer on the engine will not turn over unless I loosen the bolts just a bit. They both look the same ,the new one and the old one same amount of teeth. Not sure what's going on can... -
