    ‘71 Ford 3000 diesel - what are these 5/8-11 holes for?

    While freshening up my 71 Ford 3000 I run taps in all the holes to clean out years of stuff. I’m pretty sure the eight 3/4-10 holes on the sides of the tractor are for a loader frame. What are the two 5/8-11 on the front for? Weight bracket?

    Hardest part is deciding where to stop the disassembly. Its addictive after awhile seeing the parts all cleaned and painted. No frame off for her just wire wheel rust, primer and a few cans of ford blue.

    I attempted to put a new single filter base with glass bowl on the tractor. I can’t get these old lines to seal. Can someone tell me what I need to buy to replace these? I’d like to use flexible hose but have no idea what size or fittings to buy. Please help.

    Greetings. I have a new to me Ford 3000 diesel. Based on the stamps and plates in the pics, 2A07B would have been 1972 Jan 07 B shift. I believe this makes it a 72 but the model # C325507 would make it a late 71 as 72 serials start with C327200? On to the problem at hand. It runs and drives but...
