    The Oiler Gear is in!

    Thanks to DWarack, I got a nice oiler gear from him yesterday, and put it in today. The trans has new seals and gaskets. The axles have new seals and the seal surfaces have been built up and ground back to size to fix some deep grooves from the old seals. Now we're cookin' with gas!

    As far as I can tell from studying the transmission gears on my 130, the oil slinger keeps lube on the reverse idler gear and may even splash some over into the differential. What say ye?

    Does anyone out there have a "good" used, not worn out, or broken oils slinger gear for a 130? The part # 354643-R11. Tooth count is 41. There should also be a good bushing on it. Let me know.

    Oil Slinger Gear

    The Parts Manual TC-52A for the 100 and 130 series shows the oil slinger gear in the transmission (Part #40) as 354643-R11, I counted 41 teeth. I now have a replacement which is 369020-R11, I count only 39 teeth. Will this gear work in the 130? I still have to see if the bushing fits the shaft.

    Axle bearing removal on 130

    Hi all, The bull gear axles have a bearing and a seal retainer on them. I have to remove the bearings to swap out the seals. The bearings are good, I don"t want to damage them.
