    Connecting rod bearings: Reassembly

    I just noticed that the new bearings when installed in the connecting rod bearing caps are flush on one side ( side with the keyed slot) and protrude on the other. Is this normal? I did not notice this during disassembly since as I removed the caps the bearings immediately fell out. Thanks

    Main Bearing Cap Screws

    The following is what I have been able to clearly determine from discussing the TO20 main bearing cap screw issue with Montes Equipment and my local NH dealer. 1/2-13 grade 8 zinc plated cap screws of the correct length are a suitable replacment.

    Broke a main bearing cap screw this morning. It looks like a non-original part and possibly a softer bolt. Does anyone know where I can find replacments? Would any of those from the Ford N's fit? Or can one substitute standard grade 8 bolts.

    hydraulic line from pump of '53 Jubilee

    A previous owner replaced the hydraulic line from the pump to the rear end with soft copper line. I assume that it was originally steel line. Does anyone know of the replacment part # or can I use something like standard 5/16 brake tubing? Additionall will brake tubing with flared ends and NPT...

    Zenith carb

    I needs som opinions. Should I rebuild my TSX361A or go ahead and buy a Zenith replacement carb? Will I get that much better performance? This carb replacment/overhaul is in addition to a full engine nad head rebuild.

    Z120 TO20 push rods

    Anyone know where I can get a new set of push rods for my Z120. I did not see anything in in Sparex or Tisco catalogs or on this site in the parts section. If not available then what needs to be checked and how do I recondition then, if possible?

    Carb

    Just need to verify before buying parts. Carb brass plate is stamped "TSX361" in larger letters and then a much smaller "A" and else where these is a "1" and a "0" So is this and TSX361 or a TSX361A? What is the difference anyway?

    Does anyone know if a Wagner or Dearborn loader designed for an N-series tractor would fit on a 3000 series tractor?

    RE: TO20 engine rebuilt time

    Thanks for all of the advice so far. I let the old girl run for about 10 minutes then did the compression tests. After warmup I removed the tube from the air cleaner and fully opened the throttle to run the tests. Battery died prior to wet tests so block was a little colder but still warm...
