    Case Centennial Plow Shares

Nice find! I have two NOS shares in my stash, they are a rare item in this day and age.It would be neat if you could get good pictures of all the decals and have some reproduced.

    Case Centennial Plow Shares

If you are the fabricating type person or know someone who is, John Gaard has a you tube channel that shows rebuilding blacksmith type shares. I also have a friend who cuts the leading edge off the old shares and uses a strip of a new throw away share welded in place to rebuild old shares, I...

    Case Centennial Plow Shares

Don Livingston had a supply of after market shares several years ago, I don't know if he still has any. I might have a usable used share available.

    My 180 is about done

I agree on the gas part, if I were going to run it all day or heavy loads every day diesel is the way to go, for the ten to twenty hours it will actually get the gas is fine, although with gas being something of a outlier in this model it has made sourcing some of the parts something of a challenge.

"Yellow" paint on some 00 series tractors???

Perhaps a construction color? Perhaps a different paint supply that was different and the company just said send it?

    My 180 is about done

This tractor was in pretty good shape for being a loader tractor and I thought about leaving it as it was but thought it would be pretty sharp with a re paint so down the rabbit hole I went.

    Gleaner F Info

As a former F owner whatever you see that needs work is only half of what needs work( a true statement on any old combine really) Mr williams comments are spot on. In my opinion the F gleaner was at its design limit when built and was prone to a lot of failures from being pushed too hard, we had...

    My 180 is about done

Thanks for the replies! It's been a while but I think I got the seat cushions at all states parts, the bottom cushion is spot on the back cushion is a will fit and is not very accurate it will need work to make it better. My experience is with IH, Case, and Minneapolis Moline it will be...

    My 180 is about done

About a year and a half ago I took a chance on a Massey 180 at the scrapper it looked too straight to cut up, it has taken more time and money than I thought it would, but it has been a fun learning experience having never been around Massey Ferguson before. It seems to be a good running tractor...

Welding on a horse drawn potato digger

If the parts are made of unobtainium, and not too hard to remove i'd check out a welding shop, cast welding can be finicky to work with especially if you are not experienced with it.

    An interesting tractor (Case DI)

Neat tractor in apparently excellent shape! it appears to have a foot clutch in 1945, thats kind of neat too, the PTO on an industrial is different as is what appears to be a lifting mechanism of some sort, it would be interesting to see its history, I wonder if its build card is still available.

    Case 1947 SE Series Engine

As you have been told and Case Nutty confirmed it is a wet clutch, lubed with engine oil, my guess is it is weeping around the bell housing gasket as there is no apparent oil on the clutch shaft or the output shaft. that being said I think the hose is an add-on at some time in the past, the...

    D Stalling When Hot

Might be a partial obstruction in the fuel passages in the carburetor, had that happen in a DC i have once, fine particles in the main jet. Do the spark plugs look like they are running lean?
