    You have to remove # 36 from the bottom of the filter assembly first, then remove the 3 bolts #25 that hold the head on.     I always pack them with grease just incase they don't get oil but have never had one of them fail.

    Mosquito control

    I use Permethrin 10%. Follow directions for mixing. Mosquitoes were really bad last year. Seems like they would carry you off if you stood still. Sprayed them with this stuff and they were gone. Safe for pets and humans also.

    Pulling a 706 Diesel questions?

    The right gear 3-5 mph can work just fine but 3 mph for that tractor might be a little to slow. Does the places you pull have a tire size rule for those speed limits? Here you can run up to 14-9-38's or equivulant but 5 mph we can run 18-4's.

    JD 2020 load shaft seal/retainer /shaft kit

    I have had pretty good luck sealing them up by putting an o-ring in. Take the seal to a good hydraulic shop and find a maching o-ring. Cheap and easy way to stop it from leaking for how long I don't know but so far so good.

    gaskets on John DeereH

    Permatex Right Stuff Black is a good gasket maker. Will work to seal the block to the case. We use it all the time on pulling tractors with way more compression than that H will have with no problems. Head gasket a coat of Copper Coat spray on both sides of the gasket is all we use also.

    Find a good set of used bearings and run them. Shouldn't be to hard to come by. Lynd Bros is a good parts source. The crank would be cheaper to replace with a good used one than to try and fix.

    One 6 volt battery or your coils will be fried. Don't use a boost charger on it either or they will be fried.

    Does the bearing protrude past the edge of the side cover? If it does the cap should push against it and hold it.
