    Ford 601 External Hydraulic Problem

    I forgot to mention it has some type of knob or round dial to screw either in or out that faces towards the front of the tractor. Any ideas what this controls? I have tried to turn it with a pair of plyers but it only moves about one full turn.

    We have a ford 601 with the optional external hydraulic valve under the seat. Grandfather never had anything hydraulic to use so its never been used before. We went and tried to hook it up to a swather and it will raise it but not let it back down. Any ideas? We litterally have to bleed the...
