    Carried a 4X6 with a rope thru it on aF600 tender truck for 3 seasons. It had the drive shaft mounted drum brake that did NOT hold when in a down facing gate.     Lots of baby powder in the tire before the tube will help with wrinkles and also help with sticking to rim . Just how I do it thought I would throw it out there. fred

    TPSM? Tire pressure monitoring sensor

    There is a service kit available to replace just the grommet and retainer nut if they are aluminum or the stem itself is replaceable if they are just rubber. The sensor/stem can run $75 plus per wheel. I wouldn't replace the sensor until failures start occurring. Fred

    Dodge truck electrical problem.

    In recent years somebody wised up and started making a single wire HEI distributor for these as they always were maintenance happy. For about $110 you can drop in a GM style distributor and toss the fine system that the dodge bros came up with. got 2 and like them a lot. Fred

    OT: Tire won't take air

    TPMS sensors typically have a very small orifice that isn't straight thru the valve. Also can usually replace the stem only which is much cheaper than the approx. $100 complete sensor...either as you said is a trip to the tire shop. Fred

    O.t. rack repair

    Chasing a nasty pop noise on a 09 ford flex. Thought i had it narrowed to inner tie rod but now that its exposed i can rock the linear rack shaft more than a 32nd in the tube. Doesn't seem right but havent been this deep in a rack before. Appreciate any feedback on this. Thanks in advance. Fred
