    vicon 1211 round baler help

I have a 1211 baler that gets a large build up of hay between the belts on the left hand floor belts and the lower belts in the tailgate. Do I need to adjust the belts and if so do I need to tighten or loosen the left side? Any help would be great. Thanks

Getting Away From The Tractors, Branson Mo

I don't know about the drive for you but once you get there get a map of the routes around town. Red, green, blue and yellow routes. They will keep you out of a lot of standstill traffic on 76 highway. Just use 76 when you have to and the alt routes the rest of the time. Works great. Rooms...

    Hay men- can you answer?

About 80% of the hay I put up goes to horse people. Is it horse hay, I don't know I tell them to look at it and make up there own mind. I bale real clean bermuda and will have had one horse guy pass on the hay because it wasn't midland 99 variety. Said that was all horses could eat. Go figure

    Hydraulic lever on 3020

My 3020 had dirt collected around the aft end of the cable. When it got below freezing it would stick. I cleaned both ends of the cable good and oiled. It has worked fine since.

    manual destroke screw

buickanddeere is right. It will be the best money you spend. I put one on my 3020 about a month ago, it really is amazing how much better it starts. The electric destroke they priced to me for 550.00. I went with the manual, figured I could twist the screw in and out several times for the...

Problem with supply company salesman What would you do?

If you can, I would talk to some other suppliers and get quotes on the supplies you need. Then go to your upper management and lay it all out. Give them the options. 1) Stay with this supplier and see if they want to go talk to them to get the problem fixed or 2) Go with the new suppliers that...

    Propane Blues, I think

If I understand you right propane is passing out of the hole in the metal cover on you vaporizer. You could have a hole in the diaphram in the vaporizer. You can get a kit to replace all the rubber parts in there. Could be the whole problem

    16.9-34 to 18.4-34 rear tires

I have a 3020 with 16.9-34 tires on it and I have a chance to buy some good used 18.4-34 tires. Will they work on the same rims (15") and what do I need to watch out for. How much different is the o.d.

    NET WRAP

I think it depends on what you are doing with the hay. I sell all of mine and put twine on it because my baler doesn't do wrap. My customers would prefer the wrap and are willing to pay the extra money it takes to wrap it. If I was feeding all of my hay I would not want the wrap. Just more...

    OT: Cold Weather in Texas

The weather man says we're going to have a low of 9 degrees and winds from the north 20 to 40. I don't like the cold but it sure is better moving hay after the ground freezes. We usually slop through mud all winter.

    4020 Battery Setup

I know the early model diesels had 24 volts for the starter and gen. and 12 vol;ts to the rest of the system. I have not dealt with them so I am sure someone else on here can explain just how it worked. I think this went for the 3010/20 and 4010/20's.

    Update on 3020LP

Most of it blew off my place except I thought a three rail fence would look good down the west side of my driveway. I did not know a three rail fence could cause a four foot drift the length of my driveway. Right smack dab in the middle of it. Worked four hours Christmas morning to clear it...

My hats off to you guys up north

I guess that we don't average over six inches of snow a year here. So we sure were caught by surprise even though the weatherman said it would be a big storm. We just don't ever see anything like that. I sure am not a pro at moving snow off a driveway. Spent Christmas morning learning. See...

    Update on 3020LP

It sure is. The old thing has always started fair except in the cold. Now with the destroke valve screwed in it really cranks good and starts much faster. I do really like the propane. Not many around here seem to want them.
