IH 656 hydro steering
Utility gas model. For some reason just noticed the steering is tighter like there is resistance somewere. Has a loader on it and loader works fine. Lifted the front off the ground and same issue. Tired same thing with hih rpms's and also idle and same issue. Bother Hyd filtures were changed...- DaveH4840

IH 656 hydro
I would have no problem in splitting the tractor if it comes to that. I"ll try capping the 2 lines 1st to test. A little backround- rebuilt several vt-903 deisel out of the bradly, Rebuilt +20 m113 angle drives, Lots of prior mechanical work. Just needing to get a repair manuel and a good parts...- DaveH4840

IH 656 hydro
We have a IH 656 Hydro with gas engine. Darn good tractor size for what we need. The hydro trans is getting weak were we have to baby it to push snow. On the low or high side it will slip. Both when its cold and also running warm Both filters get changed every year. Ive been doing some looking...- DaveH4840
