    Does anyone know where to get these nuts. I believe their 9/16" fine thread castle but I'm not too sure. I'm currently getting by with nylock nuts just to hold it together.

    WE thought about it being fuel but weren't too sure seeing we are not edumacated on propane other than the basics. What's the purpose of a liquid line valve and a vapor line valve on the bottom of the tank leading to the strainer?

    It will surge sometimes also when running cold. Once warm it seems to smooth out.

    This machine has been sitting for 30+ years, and was finally started last Monday 8-18-14 off of a 30# propane tank via HP hose. Runs good at idle but when you go to throttle up, the engine just bogs and dies. The throttle linkage basically goes from idle to wide open with the slightest...

    The only problem is the actual band that the pad is riveted to is shot. ??? I'll have to dig some more to find an old piece to have rebuilt.

    The only # I can get off of the machine ID plate is 9-1681. I don't know if that's the S.N. or not. The engine # is D294778PA. It's a 1968 model from what we were told.
