    Combine In March

    T670 is a Walker model. That's what people buy here, rotaries are not popular here at all. A walker combine can keep going when the crop gets tough better than a rotary, at least that's what I've been told. My old 4400 plugs up when it gets tough anyway.

    Mine has been off for a month because I wanted to haul firewood out of the bush and we haven't had any amount of snow since. I'm sending the cab tractor to the shop next week, that will make it snow for sure!

    Thanks, guys. I will look at the Case first only because it's close to home, and If I don't like it or it's powershift I will go see the White, which is an 8 hour drive from me. Is it true I can't get powershift parts for the Case anymore and that they wear out quickly?

    Chisel plow

    I'm pulling a 7 shank with 12 inch sweeps about 9 inches deep in a clay loam mix with a JD 2550, but reading the other replies on here, I'm guessing it's been turned up a bit. I can travel anywhere from 4 to 5.5 mph.

    High tensile fence questions - goats

    If your fence will hold water, it should hold goats. They get out. I have a fence like yours powered with a Gallager 1500 and sheep must be well fed and dumb to stay in, and sheep are easier to keep in than goats. Sheep mostly stay in if you have at least 2500 volts on your fence, more is better.

    I opened it up and looked in this morning. The concave has dropped down only on the left side and is sitting on the straw walkers.
