    DC ready for Tractor Cruise

    The bid is at $1850 last I looked. Sale ends wed. at 10 and I think it may go quite a bit more. I'm more curious about the distillate option on that from 54. Was it a rare deal or fairly common? I've never seen any super series in my area with one.

    I should probably go into a bit more detail on this. It apears to be a 54 super h with live hydralics, rockford clutch and distallate burning option.

    oose, here's a link to a obit but very little mentioned. I have heard of him a bit when I was racing but that has been a few years ago now but I run through the ranks up into a limited late model when I stopped. Sprint car guys ran east and us guys ran west and didn't see much of each other...

    Gas Tractor and GPS?

    A jd mechanic I know put auto steer on a b jd and said it worked great except for under trees on the parade route. All kidding aside I think it'll work fine.

    I would check the wires from the gauge to the glow plugs to make sure they aren't damaged. I had that once. If you need glow plugs the case/ih dealer should have them. Also is the motor spinning fast enough? If it isn't it will have a tough time.

    The video I saw had a 460 baling hay so I don't know if it was engaged but the driveshaft was moving.

    Thanks for the reply mkirsch. I have seen a couple pics and one video of the elwood on 460's but not much else on them. I probably won't put one on my nice 460 but have my eye on another 460 I thought would be a fun project to put an elwood under.

    Joystick controls for a JD 158 loader on a JD 4430

    Glenn, I put a fosse valve on my 4430 to run the loader. It is around $500 and all you do is run wire to a switch then to the valve and plug the valve into the remote on your tractor. I had mine up and going in about 30 minutes. Here is a link to fasse and you can browse to see if it would...
