    yes they both are leaking. #2 had a loud ticking noise to it which got my attention. #4 isnt making any noise but you can feel the air shooting out of it.

    i have a 1978 986 that is having some blow by up between the injectors and the sleeves. #2 & #4 injectors both are having the problems. #2 has blown the dust seal out partially and #4 was apparently leaking and at some point and carboned itself back shut. I am not able yet to pry the injectors...

    When I had my 504C, it made a softer bale so lined them up and unrolled some roofing tar paper on top and held it down with twine and bricks. Takes a lot of bricks.
