    Seized Model M

    The M I bought had a cracked block , water ran from the radiator to block , through the crack in the block and sleeve down in the oil pan. You may have to go to a tractor salvage yard to get a used block. If that the case , may even think about buying a 450 block for a little more hp.

    Does anyone with a farmhand stack mover have any pictures that show where the steinels go on the side of the mover. My son made a model and would like to put the steinel on it. Thank you Tim.

    Farmall 560 no fuel to injectors

    Remove the 3 screws on top cover, and with the cover off ,with your finger ,rotate the metering valve. ( The metering valve is located under the shaft that carry the governor spring. The metering valve will have a little lever fasten to it. ) . It should rotate quite easily.

    Check out Atwoods or any farm and ranch supple store in your area. A log chain hook may just have the right pin, that would fit.

    Stuck injector pump TD9

    It been around 45 years now, but we had a old cat engine , that the rack on the injection pump was stuck . We poured Essentiolube- a product that is still sold by Hydrotex lube based in Dallas---in the fuel --let it sit for 4 months . Went to start it and she purred like it was never used...

    pressure gauge advantages.

    Thanks for the reply Ken, consider this, if I had a 50 fuel pressure gauge and a 50 lb oil pressure gauge , other than the ID what would the differents be ???

    What are the disadvantage of using a oil pressure gauge to check fuel pressure ? I do know the advantages are that a oil pressure gauge is a lot cheaper. Thanks everone. Tim
