    Farmall 400 P.S.

I am wondering if I can temporarily put pressure and return directly to the steering motor just to test it,like from one of the remotes,or even another tractor, just to confirm it works correctly. I am sure my pump is ok because it lifts my heavy haybine with ease.

    Farmall 400 P.S.

Hey guys,I just picked up a real nice 400 with what looks like factory Behlen p.s.,Schwartz wide front. The steering assist seems weak compared to my SM with add on Behlen system. The hydralic output to the remote hook ups is very good. Any advice on how to go about diagnosing the issue?

    Fresh Overhaul Break In

Low rpm gas engine, just use it like you intend to and it will be fine. I like to change oil after the first few hours of work, then just run it normally.

    New toy/ headache

Nice rig! I would love to have one of those, would be very handy around here. I still kick myself for passing up a 1550 at my old farmer friends auction. It was super nice and well kept, I didn't think I had the extra money at the time so i passed on it like a fool.

Tool to install ceramic brake pads.

I get by without a tool, I just hold them together with one hand and get the caliper started over the pads with the other hand. If you need a tool maybe a mini C clamp or an assistant would work.
