    Oliver 70 rear seal.

    I have a 1947 70 with a leaking rear crankshaft seal. My question is, can you replace the two piece cork seal without removing the engine from the tractor? I have the pan and rear main cap off. Top half of the seal is my concern, any help appreciated.

    I think this will be a sharp tractor, once completed. Paint the rear centers clover white, the rear rims silver, the front wheels clover white and the engine/chassis green. I've wanted to do this myself, but I don't have a White yet!

    In my opinion that's a very fair price for that nice of a tractor. Fair price for the drawbar. I am in the process of restoring a 1966 550 and will have for more than $5000 in it when its finished. Just my 2-cents worth.
