    There may be some different gear ratios but the cases should be the same-you may have to use the whole gearset from the other tractor but possibly not.

    Perkins A4300

    Yup...you may have to change oil pan and balancer-not all 410s have the same pan...also may have to change flywheel. I've never put one in a 1080 but have done it on a 90 and an 85. Also have made a hybrid 1080 with a 354 6 cylinder. The 300s are more reliable than the original 318-basically...
