Ford 5200's have same model numbers
I have a 1968 5200 nf and a 1971 5200 wf. Both have the same model number, E2014C, im assuming my 68 5200 left the Romeo plant as a wide front axle and the narrow front was added later.They are diesels with 4x2 transmissions.Not sure how those letters and numbers break down. Can anyone help? -

Ford 5200 moving front axle back.
I have a '71 5200 with wide front axle. I would like to move the front axle from the front position (row crop) to the back position (utility) which is right at the oil pan.My question is has anyone ever done this move? I understand that once its in the utility position,the tie rods now have to... -

Hey Guys,9600 quadrant siezed.
Ok anyone know what could be happening with my quadrant.My 9600 was used at a golf course to run a pto pump and do irrigation. It sat outside for years and the 3pth was not used. Now the handle is seized in the down position. Anybody have ideas on what is wrong here? -

The Ford 9600 with the big cab used to live on a golf course. Its only job was to power a 540rpm pto pump for the golf courses irrigation system. Its 3pth never got used.The quadrant handle is seized in the down position. It will not move, and I did not force it.What do you think has happened... -

HEY FORD FARMER Ford 9600 pics and 224 disk
So I finally tried out my Ford 224 20' disk. I'm in gear 5 on my 9600, have tried to keep disk level. But I'm leaving behind centre ridge. Rear disks gangs (left and right) seem to be spaced closer together. Is this what is causing the ridges? or am I going too fast? Interested in any feedback... -

Ford 7710 has 18.4x34 pa cast rims
Anybody ever change from 18.4x34 pa cast rims to 15.5x38 pa cast rim,tire rim and all? Would like to use my 7710 to spray 30 inch soybeans.Want to straddle 3 rows, have very hilly terrain.Pulling a 300 gallon trail sprayer.Im thinkin the 18.4 tires are goin to be running down beans. Basically... -

Ford 7710, A/C compressor starting to chatter
So i noticed yesterday that my a/c compressor was starting to make like what sounded like dry bearing noises while running. I immediately removed the belt on it so it wouldnt have a complete melt down. Then i spun the pulley on the compresser by hand, seemed fine. Anybody know whats happening... -

Auger wrappin with bind weed
Hi Guys, im harvesting rye that has been knock over by a bad wind/rain storm. Now bind weed has come up thru the straw and spread all over.Its wrapping around my auger. Ford 9600 has rust in the diesel fuel tank PIC
So my 9600 has a rust and crud problem in the fuel tank. I cannot remove the tank,its surrounded by cab support structure( cab is a "Full Vision" make from Kansas). What is the best way to go about cleaning out the tank? Any help appreciated,.....John -

Ford 9600, rust inside fuel tank.
While running my 9600, it stalled and i was able to trace the problem to the screen in the fuel tank being plugged with rust. The tractor has an after market cab made by "Full Vision" of Kansas, which would make it very difficult to get the fuel tank off.Structural supports surround the fuel... -

Ford 9600 tried to start for the first time.
So in March i picked up a Ford 9600 at an auction for real cheap ($2500cdn). So far i have replaced the fan bearing,fan belts, repaired the Sims dual filter assembly(bleed screw threads on left filter were stripped),pulley on alternater was junk, replaced it, and now have changed all fluids... -

Look what followed me home today
Picked up this 9600 at an auction for $2500cdn. Had no batteries so was not started up. Has 8100 hrs on it. Pulled the dipstick, had oil at proper level.Also has murphy guages so it did a lot of pto work. Back tires are 20%. Just wondering what kind of surprises await me when I get it home and... -

Hey HoboNC,and BobReeves 3600 bolster
Wanted to give you an update, I took my tractor apart,the bolster is egg shapped from all the wear, only 1/3 of the bushing survived. Pin is in perfect shape, will only need a slight turn(quarter) and it should be good. Tomorrow i got to see about finding another bolster or get this one... -

Ford 3600 bolster pin
I pulled my 3600 in for spring service and I noticed that the front axle is starting to chew away at the bolster pin. I'm running out of time now, I will need the loader to pick stones. Wondering if anybody out there has had this pin fail? Thanks in advance for any replies...John <image... -
