Plumbing a 1070 case with a new to me loader

I guess I added that photo in an attempt to better understand the correct plumbing. I am not as seasoned as some of you, and don't completely follow the terms used in the above explanations. Thanks though, if there is nothing more to discuss.

Plumbing a 1070 case with a new to me loader

I snapped this photo a year or so ago knowing I would be doing this at some point. It was of another fellows tractor and I wish I had paid more attention to it at the time. It appears he has run the auxiliary valve off the top side of the pto pump, and then put a Tee into what I would assume...

Plumbing a 1070 case with a new to me loader

Hi All. yes, I have read through all the archived posts dealing with plumbing a loader off the tractor keeping the original remotes in tact. I even found a picture that I believe was posted by Case Nutty 1660 of a very slick cable operated set up, which is exactly what I want to do. Problem I...

1070 hydraulics appear to be sucking air

Well I am sure some will get a good laugh out of this. I almost was too embarrassed to post it. It would seem the reason I couldn't get the pump out is because I didn't fully remove one bolt. The one hiding below the hookups for the inlet and outlet pipe. I felt pretty stupid when I saw what...

1070 hydraulics appear to be sucking air

I have not taken that off, yet. It appears as if it will clear without having to.

1070 hydraulics appear to be sucking air

No sir, wont come. The whole thing is loose, and I can wiggle it around. I have even tried increasingly more and more pressure with two pry bars at the corners, tapping, etc. Something towards the bottom of the pump on the inside is holding it. I did manage to mess up the gasket, so I have...

1070 hydraulics appear to be sucking air

Gosh it sure feels like there is something Inside holding to together. I can get it to come out about 1/4 inch and that s it.

1070 hydraulics appear to be sucking air

Thanks. I did take the bolts out, but the pump didnt want to pop out very easily. I consulted the parts index, and I wasnt sure if there was a pickup tube attached to the inside or not. Ill give it another shot tonight.

1070 hydraulics appear to be sucking air

Ok Guys and Gals, I posted this awhile back in a different thread about my hydraulic oil being filled with air bubbles after an oil change. Basically to recap, I changed both filters and oil in the my 1070 and after the oil change, the sight gauges turn white as if to indicate air bubbles in the...

I dont even know if I could find a technician who could do this around here anymore. Plus I would be scared to turn it up.

    4490, 34' triple K

I am in nothern MN. Soil is lighter, so I have that going for me. Tractor is stock and I am thinking now that I got the triple K home you are exactly right. I will be able to pull it, but not efficiently or at the speed it was built to be pulled at to do a good job.

    4490, 34' triple K

Alright all, I'm pretty nervous here as I bought a konskilde sbc 34' triple k cultivator with rolling baskets thinking my case 4490 would pull it all day long. Previously I was pulling 30 feet of 3 rank melroe multiweeder and you could hardly tell it was back there. I am starting to think I...

    Case 1070 weird problems.

Still chasing my tail on this air in the oil issue. Havent had time to take the pump out and check the o rings as mother nature keeps us busy moving snow almost every day lately and right or wrong I need the old 10. I did however pick up a new set of filters for the heck of it, and changed them...

    Case 1070 weird problems.

I did not have this problem prior to the oil change. The only thing close would be if the oil level got a little low, you could notice the "air line" at the top of the oil level in the sight gauge. then of course it would go away when I would add some oil. We got a bunch of snow again today...

    Case 1070 weird problems.

Here is where I am at. I am on a new solenoid and so far, no problems. Thinking things through, I believe the switch was causing the solenoid to be hot at times it shouldn't, causing the starter to spin unwanted. The only way to stop it was to pull the hot wire, which took a bit of time and...

    Case 1070 weird problems.

Im Thinking the same, though I dont know what could have happened between filter change. Or even how to go about diagnosing it.

    Case 1070 weird problems.

A quick update on the oil situation. It has sat in the shop over night and the oil looks as if it has returned to normal in the sight gauges meaning it is not all white and full of air. Rather it has returned to its normal dark green color. Both sight gauges are completely full though, but I...

    Case 1070 weird problems.

Good to know, but thats not the problem I am having. It keeps spinning, but the drive isnt engaged...sort of sitting there whirring. Oh, and tonight at one point I guess it kept cranking even with the switch off and the fuel stop pulled out.

It got a new plunger when it was gone through, and the technichian said it check out ok on the bench, but I better try it myself to see if I can replicate it off the tractor. bummer if I didnt need the new switch
