1175 PTO clutch brake too thick?

Rebuild the PTO clutch on my 1175. I ordered a replacement brake friction, and it looks like its too thick material. When I try to assemble the PTO clutch drum it bottons out on the brake friction and prevents it from seating Part number is good. Anyone have this happen before? Thinking...

Case 930 CK PTO Doesn't Disengage

I don't have a service manual for this tractor, but would a service manual have the info on how to do that? Also how hard are PTO clutch disc's to come by? And I think it would be safe to assume the brake is worn out, how hard would that be to reline or find a replacement?

Case 930 CK PTO Doesn't Disengage

I think this is a common problem, but never fixed this before so I figured Id ask the experts here. PTO works fine and dosen't slip, but when I try to disengage it, it still turns. Sometimes, after I shut the tractor down, having used the PTO. Then start it back up a few days later (with...

    Need a 430 Tie Rod

Was out doing some shredding with the 430 this morning, and I found a hole. Must have hit it just right and the left side tie rod bent up like a pretzel. Just left the tractor out in the field, didn't mess with it much, any ideas about where to get a replacement?

Need to Rehabilitate a Tired Feild

The place is located in the Damon/Needville area, close to the state park. The lawyer has given me the clear to do what ever, the guy sent the check for this year last week, after he got the crop out. Helped himself to lowering the acreage a little and dropping the rent a little as there was...

Need to Rehabilitate a Tired Feild

Got a tenant farmer that was farming the back field of the farm before we got it. He'd put his inputs in when the property sold and Dad was too kind hearted to kick him off. Long story short, the guys is a sleaze and I'm tired of dealing with him and he's not going to farm the property anymore...

    430 Power steering?

I received the seals to repack the power steering rams for my 430 today, so yeah they came with power steering. But, +1 for it being too much fuss to make an armstrong model powered, but that's just me. Maybe look for a junk 430 with power steering and rob what you need off it?

How Many People on Here Actually Farm?

Long sad story how I got here, but I'll soon be coming to terms with how feasibly it will be to farm with older 2 and 4 row equipment. I've seen some pictures, atleast in the Case forum, of guys doing actual work with older farm equipment, but I'm curious how many other people do it. So how...
