    Case 530ck or 630

Hello Steve, I would say either would be able to do the tasks you want. We have a diesel 430 (431) and I use it for both tasks you speak of. I have 4 basket Sitrex RT5200 4 basket 17' tedder. I have a 12' discbine and if I am going to ted I will set the it hay narrow coming out the the...

    Deutz-Allis 6240, checkiing brake fluid?

Haha! I did not see your post until now. Thought it was a trick question. 6265 and 6275 were only of the 6200 series to use brake fluid. 6240, 6250, and 6260 were mechanical. I prefer the mechanical (for those size tractors). Simpler. Honestly now thinking about it if 6260 had cab...

    deutz oil capacity

I am not sure the oil capacity of the transmission. But do not make the mistake some have made with those: drain the transmission and fill the hydraulic reservoir. The transmission and hydraulic reservoir are separate. The transmission life is greatly reduced without oil.

    Disc Mower HP Requirement

Hi Bob, I have a Hesston 3312, which is the same thing as a Massey 1372. Rubber and steel roll. I always run it on my Deutz-Allis 7110. With 110 hp, I have not really needed more power. In thick 1st crop it takes more power and on hills you definitely know it is there. But if it takes...

Questions iro Old Deutz tractor from the 1980s

Hello Widux, Just need a bit more info. If it is an 06 or 07, the tractor serial plate would be on the right side of the tractor on the frame part in front of the engine. The serial plate that Deere Mark showed is from the engine, which would be helpful but not exactly the full story. If...

    same italian tractor parts

I do not know of a salvage yard or an aftermarket parts supplier for SAME tractors. However, according to the Deutz-Fahr America website, they are the only authorized supplier for OEM parts for them in the US. It says to contact one of their dealers or send an inquiry directly to them. I...

New Holland 315/ 316 pan kicker, will it work?

Correct, you do need the true center. The pulley ring has a lip that goes inside the flywheel for it to be centered. ID of flywheel and OD of the lip of pulley ring match up. The ring seats inside the flywheel. Of course I am assuming that New Holland kept the same flywheel dimensions...

New Holland 315/ 316 pan kicker, will it work?

It is just six holes to drill. I did it for mine. I think it would be easier than swapping flywheels.

New Holland 315/ 316 pan kicker, will it work?

Hello Mike, As I said the other day, you do not have to change the flywheel. Every pan thrower I have seen on a NH baler appears to have the same hydraulic pump setup as the New Holland 70 belted thrower I put on my Deutz baler years ago. The grooves are on a pulley ring that is to be...

New Holland 70 bale thrower power

I installed a hydraulic drive New Holland 70 thrower on our Deutz baler about 17 years ago. We found the thrower in the weeds at a dealer with every component related to the thrower, as the dealer had removed the thrower from the baler for an Amish or Mennonite farmer. In our area 98% of...

    Deutz 6240 Wiring Schematic

I did not get a chance to look any thing up today; hopefully tomorrow I will remember to. Yeah Florida is a ways from Wisconsin. As I said I do not really want to swamp my little dealer from up here with calls from throughout the whole country. They have sold Deutz tractor since the 70's...

    Deutz 6240 Wiring Schematic

Hi JBMac76, I am not sure if I can help or not. We have a 6260 and I will see if I can find its documentation. Sometimes the manual has a wiring schematic, or a wiring schematic out sent out with them when new. We have had ours since new. Where are you located? I know a dealer who...

    ashes to ashes, rust

Yep definitely an 80's era DX series Deutz. Cannot tell much more beyond that. That would be a newer model in my shed, but I prefer the 06 series. It happens to the best of them...

    More Shop Time

Never replaced a water pump? Impressive! Have an 2004.5 that is finally getting to 100k, I have put 2 water pumps on it. It is common failure on them, but likely one of the easiest water pumps to change so not really complaining much. I have caught them leaking; has never left me sit for...

    More Shop Time

I always wanted a diesel car. There were too many VW TDI's around so in 2013 I saved up money to purchase a used 2010 BMW 335d with 36,000 miles on. Now it has 213,000 miles. I am not a fan of belted engines either so that scared me away of the VW TDI also. The BMW has not been without...

    52-06 fuel tank cowl removal

I replaced the fuel tank on my 68 06 last fall. Should be the same process for yours, I think. It was a pain, no doubt. I removed the hood first, removing the pin from the hinge. Unscrewed the dash and pushed that up in back the steering wheel. Then there a four bolts that hold the top...

    Re: Deutz Tractor

I assume you mean 40 06. We may be easily able to eliminate that fuel is getting into the crankcase from the injection pump. In the picture is the injection pump on my 68 06. It should be just like the one on your 40 06, but 4 cylinder instead of 3. The thing you want to make sure you...

Did you know that Cummins was working on?

I work for Cummins also. Worked at same plant as 4520BW for 9 years before transferring to a Cummins Emissions Solutions plant in Wisconsin. I have no real inside information. But I know that Cummins/Cummins Westport supplies vast majority of the mid-range and heavy duty on-highway natural...
