    I’m replacing the old rubber rollers with the plastic ones that I bought to put on. First question is; does it matter if the beveled side faces outside or in? The plastic ones are a little narrower than the original rubber ones. I’m thinking I should position the extra length of the bushing...

    And once it gets placed, does that mean it stays there and cattle come to it to feed? Otherwise, how would it be moved somewhere else? Presumably this is for areas of very low rainfall.

    Ford 142 plow

    Interesting that Ford gave it the same model number whether it was a mounted, semi-mounted or pull type. I don’t think the Ford semi-mount version is equivalent to the Oliver 546. The hitch and main frame beam is not like the one on an Oliver 546.

    I have a sales brochure for the 565-566-575 plows dated 7/71. The only on-the-go, automatic reset offered at that time was the hydraulic reset on the 575. It was offered in 3-8 bottoms. So it accommodated a wide range of tractor sizes. The 566 was offered in 5-8 bottoms and had cushion action...
