    injector pump line removal

There is a rubber grommet called an olive that is keeping the line in. They get hardened over time and are difficult to remove. The new ones fit tight too. You may need a sharp pick to cut the olive and pick pieces out to get it free.

    What is going 0n

I think your the one that asked the stupid question. Don't condemn the point of sales person. He or she is only doing what they are required to do. If you need to lash out at someone write a letter to the corporate office. The cashier does not set policy.

    What is going 0n

I'm baffled too.. Most of the time all I hear these days is how selfish and self centered everyone else is. Yet every day someone asks if they can help. I sort of like the young ladies calling me "honey" and opening doors for me... at least they aren't calling me a male chauvinist pig and...

    Parr’s washer

Yes diesel will work great but smells. Don't use stuff like acetone because the pump is made out of plastic and it will melt. Don't ask how I know this.

    Mf135 start switch.

Here is a typical alternator (Delco SI) diagram. The lead marked 1 on the alternator can go through the ignition switch spare contact if their is on or it can go through a oil pressure switch. I prefer the oil pressure switch. Basically the number one terminal needs a positive voltage applied to...

    LED Repair

They are designed to fail. The time life designers will work on it till they can get them to last enough hours to keep customers somewhat satisfied. The tungsten fulfillment in a regular light bulb time life is about 1000 hours on the nose. Its based on duty cycles on and off. The...

    Industrial Winchester 8ga shotguns

Saw some of those in action at a cement plant. The clinker grinder, which is quite large and very long tube that rotates and grinds the kilned limestone into powder needs to be cleaned periodically. The humidity and the cement forms stalactites sticks to the walls of the tube and they use a 8...

    255 Massey rear tires

My 255 Massey is in need of new tires. The old tires are 16.9-30 on 15 inch rims. The rims are standard loop rims. I would like to make the back wheels narrower. There is a spacer on the back side of the rim or what appears to be but don't know if it can be removed. If it can be removed it...

You will need to use the ammeter because it has a low resistance shunt to indicate current output. Current indicated is a function of the voltage drop across the shunt.

MF202 oil pressure switch and neutral safety switch question

Good luck with it. Yep I replaced the generator on my MF50 in 2008 and haven't had any battery trouble since. Before the old generator just couldn't keep the battery up to full charge. Had to run a bit over 1000 rpm and any lower than that wouldn't charge. The alternator will charge at idle...

MF202 oil pressure switch and neutral safety switch question

Not here to judge and I'm sure you will make it better. That is a generator so one poster said the switch your were asking about powered the gauges and that is more that likely correct. If I were you, since you are re-wiring I would get rid of the generator and the external regulator and...

MF202 oil pressure switch and neutral safety switch question

Pick around the hole on top and see if there are any plastic bits and pieces. The top of the switch may have broken off. Their should be a metal piece threaded in the hole.
