    Rear end

    I have a 1972 Ford 4500. Was putting new fluid in the rear end, Took the level plug out, started pouring the fluid in and the fluid started coming out of were the clutch arm goes into the rear end! Not sure what to do at this point, motor runs good, backhoe works good, Need some advice.

    4500 Ford clutch

    Update, Drained the transmission fluid, Had a lot of water in it, very little fluid, After a little playing around with it, the clutch seems to be working, Which is a relief, Didn't really want to put a bunch of money into the tractor.

    Let me know how it turns out, I just decided to buy new tires, My thinking was spend the money to install the tubes and it only last a short time, and still have to buy new tires, just bite the bullet and do it right the first time.
